late night thoughts

(Jean Jacket from H&M, floral skirt from Aritzia, Betsey Johnson tights from Marshalls, combat boots from Love Culture, bag from Aldo)

This is going to be my next Lookbook look, I'm not really diggin my face expression but it will have to do, haha. It's been a while since I've done one. I'm either too lazy or too forgetful to ask someone to take a picture of what I'm wearing on a daily basis. I'm obviously not a professional model so when I do get a photographer to capture my outfit I burst out in shy giggles.
*Note to self: STOP BEING SO SHY, VANESSA.
Note to *Note to self: I'M WORKING ON IT. Love, Vanessa :)

Lately, I've been procrastinating too much and feeling like I have no time to do things and this is mainly because I'm so addicted to my computer. Facebook and Tumblr doesn't help and I know making this new blog won't help either...I should really just throw my computer out the window. I know it would be completely effective since I live on the 13th floor, haha. But I really need to start figuring out what I want to do, I know the general aspect, just not what specifically. Sometimes I feel like I'm too inconsistent and I can't apply what I know and what I learn to what I want to do.
All I know is that I'm inspired and I want to inspire, I'm just trying to figure out how exactly...

"be sure to wear some flowers in your hair..."

(Taken by me: Golden Gate Bridge, San Francisco)
It's been exactly two months since I moved in to my school and I really love it. San Francisco is so different from Cupertino, but everyone knows that...I've been coming here almost ever other week when I was younger but there were so many places that I have never been to until just recently. The city is filled with eccentric characters, foggy days, and hilly streets.

Tomorrow I'm going to the Haight and Ashbury district with my roommate. Our mission tomorrow is to find supplies for our Halloween costumes. I've probably been there like 30 times since I moved here but it never gets old to me, it's probably my favorite street in SF. Thrifty buys, peace signs, tattoo shops, vintage clothes, craft supplies, furry fabrics, burritos, and hippies! What more could I ask for within a few blocks?!

dlsr

I did this silly photoshoot with my younger sisters a few months ago when we were bored. The whole time was filled with giggles and snorts while we tried to look serious for the photographs...Vianca had the hardest time of course. I chose a bad outfit for myself that day which explains why im MIA. Either way my camera shyness is one of the main reasons I've been slacking on my Lookbook posting...oops.

P.S. I seriously need a DLSR as soon as possible, I'm craving photos to play with and post!

I decided to make a separate blog from Tumblr. Don't get me wrong I'm still obsessed and in love with Tumblr, but I wanted to make this one more personal and I get easily distracted with re-blogging cool photographs that it takes over my actual posts (not that I've posted very many recently...haha) I've been wanting to make this for a while but I've been putting it off. *Typical me.
